Don't be ridiculous. They were varying degrees of good between 1998 and 2004. And 1993, that was a good year. And... uh... the '60s were good.@SkitchP wrote:BigRedLedbetter wrote:I would love to see the Leafs get goodagain.

They were excellent on NHL 1994 for Sega. Andreychuk is a maniac in that game. My first ever NHL game was Leafs at Stars in late 1993. I hated Vancouver for a long time for knocking my Stars out that year.philpritchard wrote:Don't be ridiculous. They were varying degrees of good between 1998 and 2004. And 1993, that was a good year. The 1993 Maple Leafs is still my favorite team to play on NHL on Sega Genesis. Doug Gilmore and Wendall Clarke were studs.

Funny, that's how Wendell Clarke describes Doug Gilmour.

the worst part? they don't speak for us, the fans. Mike Harrington is a fucking joke. I cannot state enough how small of a person he is. He searches his name on twitter to see what people are saying about him and then goes after them all the time. He did it to me and I just replied "you are a child" so he blocked me. He just makes a mockery of being a journalist with his narratives.philpritchard wrote:There are a couple really mad Buffalo reporters at this Babcock press conference.

Yeah, it was him and one other guy at the press conference, but I think he was the one who just flat out accused Babcock of lying to the Sabres. One of them went with the whole "You were just using the poor Sabres as leverage!" to which any sane sports fan thought "Yeah... like every free agent player and executive has done to every team in the history of sports."Mecca wrote:the worst part? they don't speak for us, the fans. My favourite part was his follow up article on how Babcock really isn't all that good of a coach and "WE DON'T NEED YOU ANYWAY!"

i mean, it sounds like him, but i never read his articles because he is obviously a baseball guy forced to write about hockey.philpritchard wrote:I thought it was him.Mecca wrote:wait, did harrington really write that article?philpritchard wrote:Yeah, it was him and one other guy at the press conference, but I think he was the one who just flat out accused Babcock of lying to the Sabres. Re: NHL Thread
Two games 7's for the conference finals is pretty sweet.
The Hawks are my "de facto" team now but holy shit they just hung on last night.
