Last 10:
-Things to Come (1936)
(SPECTACULAR visual effects. I have no idea how they created some of these images. This is kind of the ultimate science fiction movie.)
-Dollman vs. Demonic Toys (1993)
-Demonic Toys (1992)
(There's a very real chance this is David Goyer's best script.)
-The Replacement Killers (1998)
-A Most Violent Year (2014)
(J.C. Chandor seems to pride himself on blandness. Painfully lacking insight into its characters, visually hideous, and there is A LOT of stupid shit in this that falls apart if a small amount of thought is applied to it.)
-Dracula Untold (2014)
(Best historical epic since 300. Blew me away. Wonderful surprise.)
-Nights of Cabiria (1957)
-Tomorrowland (2015)
(Damon Lindelof needs to stop being involved with movies.)
-Tyson (2009)
-Whiplash (2014)

So do I but he is totally wasted in that movie. Chandor seems to push every actor in the film into very "actorly" performances, which is incredibly annoying.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:i'm still going to see a most violent year at the dollar theater this week because i eternallyLoathedVermin72 wrote:Last 10:

Re: What movies are you watching?
This is something I worried about with the first clip I saw. The performances weren't natural at all. I was hoping it was a choice and that there was a point to it.LoathedVermin72 wrote:So do I but he is totally wasted in that movie. Re: What movies are you watching?
I watched Furious 7 this weekend. It was ok. It was too long and the dialogue was like something out of a crappy video game, but the action was pretty good. I don't think I'll be watching any of the others.
