Re: About your fandom...
I always say Pearl Jam is my favorite band, but I make a point to tell everyone that I think the years '94 - '00 were their best years and that anything post-2006 is junk for the most part.

99% of the people you'll encounter do not differentiate between early, mid, and late Pearl Jam.
And we should all be embarrassed.

I'd say 80 percent of people don't know Pearl Jam anything made by the band after 1994.Jessica Fletcher wrote:99% of the people you'll encounter do not differentiate between early, mid, and late Pearl Jam.

trying to be a pearl jam fan on RM is like trying to get excited for The Force Awakens by only reading McParadigm posts.

Re: About your fandom...
Even that is giving the band too much credit.
Most people don't give them enough thought to realize that 90% of those dumb Pearl Jam songs they know are from a specific era. They just know that Pearl Jam has been around a long time, they have some hits that sound like the 1990's, and they have that aww-huh song which sounds newer than that, so they must be 'classic.'
