And I believe you meant to say Ice-T is amazing.
I completely agree with you about Podcasts, friend. I certainly don't mean any disrespect. We are 100% in agreement. Except, I guess, that I also see it, in addition to what you said above, as a way for idiots to be idiots and no-talents to pretend to have talent. It's all encompassing.
Someday, I'd like to have a podcast. Maybe I will. If I can ever figure out what it is I have that's worth talking about.

Oh yeah, you're right about that. But I think one could say that's more just the internet than podcasts.
Jesus Christ, this is how Ice-T ended the first episode: "If you sat through a whole hour of this and then you got nothin' to say but negative shit, you got to be the dumbest motherfucker on Earth."

There is definitely a fad element to it right now. Everyone and their grandmother is doing a podcast. Most are useless.
I like to find boring instructional podcasts on things I'm interested in, like writing or whatever. The drier the better to me. One on one interviews or even lectures are ideal.
Its hard to find good ones from experienced and successful people though. Most seem to be from well meaning but inexperienced people. Any recommendations would be great.
I avoid the general ones: The ones with a bunch of dudes sitting around talking about stuff. I don't really like to hear random people jabber on about random shit, especially when I'm not part of the converation. I could just go sit in a bar alone and eavesdrop.
Listening to the Dan Savage episode of the Joe Rogan Experience. Jesus Christ, Joe Rogan can be a real fucking idiot sometimes. He is being infuriatingly obstinate about dumb stuff in this episode.
