the thing that paaks "spoiled" was regarding Dany's "fireproofing" back when the show made every effort to say "she isn't hurt by fire"

But from my memory the first go round I thought he was dead and just someone else was using is helm around the riverlands, cashing in on his reputation.

I was shocked -- SHOCKED -- that she didn't burn to death in that fire.

I didn't catch it as I was reading, but simply felt the scene was ominous and "pointing" at something. But when I read about it, it made sense.

Re: A Song Of Ice and Fire (Spoilers for all Published Books
Valyrian steel just became incredibly important (I think we all knew it would be eventually?). Who's got those weapons that we know of?
Jon - Longclaw
Brienne - Oathkeeper
Lord Tarley - Heartsbane
Tommen (?) - Widow's Wail
There are other minor ones, held by people who haven't really entered the narrative. Then there's the blade that was almost used to kill Bran, which I assume is somewhere in Winterfell? I forgot what happened to it. Does Valyrian steel only have this property in certain people's possession, though? If Brienne encountered an other, would she be able to kill one like Jon did?
Obviously, I think this gives some sort of enticement for Jon and Dany to eventually get together--that is, if we believe that dragons make dragon glass. Someone on reddit this week made a post (can't find it now) rethinking the role of volcanos in the series--they destroyed the Valyrian Empire, and (maybe) broke the Arm of Dorne (less evidence or the latter, but something of that magnitude could have broken it, for sure). Are there other volcanos we don't know about? Could the "dragon sleeping under Winterfell" actually be a dormant volcano? Could that come into play? Long shot, but interesting.

Kevan's coming to King's Landing, and Varys isn't touring with Tyrion anymore. I think we know where this is going...
