I lost both of my playoff games. I've made the 4 team playoff 10 times out of 13 times that I've played fantasy football. I have yet to win it all.

Re: Fantasy Football Discussion
Most years I've been middle of the pack but I did win two championships and they happened to be back to back.
I'll be honest though, I haven't had fun as much the past couple years. I haven't kept up with the overall NFL as regularly during the season and I've gotten to where I don't want to care if San Diego's #2 WR is a late scratch for a west coast game or if the questionable QB on Monday will start or most Thursday games at all.

Decided to come back for one more season. Our league set our draft order today, I'm fourth out of twelve.

Drafted Beast Mode a couple years ago and he's been my keeper ever since. started as 8 person league, then 10, this year its gonna be 12.
Think I'm gonna grab another really good RB first round, a high end WR second, and a QB 3rd.

Re: Fantasy Football Discussion
After years of lobbying, I finally convinced our league to use Free Agent Acquisition Budget (FAAB) for waiver pickups this year. We're a 16 team league so this should finally level the playing field acquiring free agents.
We use CBS which apparently sucks for FAAB since you can't do much customizing the execution of it. i.e. like doing a hybrid system of FAAB and first come, first served add/drops. We were hoping to run FAAB for the first few days, and then on Sunday allow first come, first served add/drops for last minute fill-ins.
Anyone else here use FAAB in your leagues? What's your experiences been so far? Any advice?

In a keeper league that I can keep 2 of the 3:
Peyton Manning
Frank Gore
Vincent Jackson
I'm leaning towards keeping VJ and Frank Gore, or just VJ. Thoughts? Peyton worries me this year. I've had him on this keeper team for like 6 years now.

Re: Fantasy Football Discussion
Draft day. 12 teams, 13 rounds. WR/TE count the same. 4th pick.
RB: LeVeon Bell, Carlos Hyde, Gio Bernard, Shane Vareen
WR/TE: Gronk, Martavus Bryant, Charles Johnson, Travis Kelce, Brian Quick
QB: Brady, Palmer
DST: NYJets
K: Parkey (Phi)
Brady was my 5th round pick & 4th QB taken. I wanted him & did not want to wait for the snake to work its way back around. Whatever his suspension may be I feel he's going to be in full on scorched earth F you mode once his season starts. Palmer is good early season insurance; the guy can put up some numbers before he goes down with injury.
I like Bell as my primary back. Bryant might have been a little bit of reach in round 4.

Maybe it comes from years of watching him devour my team, whichever team he's on, but I think this a no brainer. You have to keep Peyton fucking Manning, Ruddo.doug rr wrote:peyton but i'm biased...go broncosE.H. Ruddock wrote:GUYS, PEYTON MANNING OR SAM BRADFORD, WHO SHOULD I KEEP ON MY FFL TEAM?

Has Bradford played a full season yet?
