However, I'm a little disappointed we didn't get to see an ice spider; I was hoping that's what the Thenn was going to see through the hole in the gate.

Good thing you reminded him it was a bit of information that was disclosed in the show, or else he'd think we're spoiling speculation again.Mecca wrote:when they're talking to the wildling elders, they laugh at the idea of white walkers riding giant spiders the size of houndsChris_H_2 wrote:um, wat?Simple Torture wrote:However, I'm a little disappointed we didn't get to see an ice spider; I was hoping that's what the Thenn was going to see through the hole in the gate.

For a second, I was worried that they'd never been mentioned on the show, and that I had spoiled an obscure fact that's given in an Old Nan story that's referred to on just three pages of a 4000+ page story.cutuphalfdead wrote:Good thing you reminded him it was a bit of information that was disclosed in the show, or else he'd think we're spoiling speculation again.Mecca wrote:when they're talking to the wildling elders, they laugh at the idea of white walkers riding giant spiders the size of houndsChris_H_2 wrote:um, wat?Simple Torture wrote:However, I'm a little disappointed we didn't get to see an ice spider; I was hoping that's what the Thenn was going to see through the hole in the gate.

This is one of the first episodes in a while that's given me the sense of wonder and awe that the pre-reading episodes. Every storyline was great.
