So bad. Hardhome made up for it but goddamn that was pure shit.

You really shouldn't be in here, let alone reading and quoting posts.
No, I was reading some show recaps then clicked a link that took me to a site talking about 'ADWD' where...
Spoiler: show
Jon gets stabbed repeatedly and seemingly, left to die.
Now that I foolishly read that, is it true? IS IT!? I NEED TO KNOW. IT'S RUINING MY DAY!!!!!!
I'll answer this for you if you really want to know. Just click the spoiler tag.

But then get the eff out of this thread before you see something you don't want to see! This is the Book/Spoiler thread!
Spoiler: show
It's true. We don't know for sure that he is dead and most book readers believe he is not. But he is definitely attacked and seemingly left for dead, yes.
Thanks, and I'm getting the hell outta here now. Maybe I'll try to ready the books after this season and before next.

It was. But it was like 30 seconds long so who cares?

So last 3 minutes where it's literally just a back and forth shot of King White Walker, then Jon Snow with the same expression. Then King White Walker. Then Jon Snow with the same expression. Then a shot of the boat not moving in the water. Then King White Walker. Then Jon Snow with the same expression. Then King White Walker. Then Jon Snow. Then the boat. Then the dead army rising. Then King White Walker. Then Jon Snow.

That all reeeeeeeeeeeeeeally need to be in there? You couldn't imagine a good edit of that sequence that lasted 10 or 20 seconds rather than 3 minutes?

I don't know, Pete.

I think the problem is that Arianne Martell was a fun character to be in the head of and all we get are the bland snakes.

Also, this show wouldn't be taking so much heat for "hating women" if they hadn't cut all the powerful feminism from book 4.

did you know that they're casting for Euron Greyjoy? I think they just wanted to wait to get the iron islands into the story

I did see that. And it's promising. I hope they do the Kingsmoot and all that. I really loved that stuff.

I'm thinking the blackfish, Randyll Tarly, and Auron will be major players in the next season.

I can see them combining Aegon/griff and Auron into one character.
