It could have hurt him; MJ, in the prime of his career, walks away from basketball to play minor league baseball. Mmmm.

At the time, dozens of rumors swirled (prolific wife sharing with pro golfers and a heavy gambling addiction come to mind). I've always believed that Jordan was nudged/forced to take a break from the NBA by Stern in return for something. Now imagine, billions of people armed with smartphones, able to catch Jordan in the act. I think he benefited from the lack of social media and intense coverage.

Jordan is still the best basketball player and athlete ever (probably will hold this honor for a very long time), but to suggest that no one will ever surpass him is akin to saying the world is flat.

Lebron and MJ are different players and comparing across different eras can be pretty tricky. Yes, you could hand check back then but zone defenses were illegal. I'm too lazy to look but there was an article with the numbers to prove that defenses are much better now with hybrid zone defenses than they were "back in the day".

Just saw a promo for Jimmy Kimmel's show before the game. That was a nice touch when they added it a few years back.

I hope they do the whole if the guest makes a 3 everyone gets a prize thing. I remember Mark Whalberg shooting at the basket like a 5 yr old with broken hands.

Warriors in 5.

Tonight is the Cavs best shot at stealing one out there, though.

It felt like Curry slowed up going for that layup. Play hard!

What a fun game after a pretty sloppy first quarter. Can't see the Cavs winning it if Irving is out.

That was one of the best all around games I've seen Kyrie play. Hope he's not seriously hurt.
