Yes. Of course it is.
They're still touring it, 10 dates at a time

Are there even any rumors or hints at them recording anything? I haven't heard squat, but I haven't been looking for anything either. Honestly, after the last two albums, I'm not sure I want them to make another album. I'd be fine with a No Code re-issue and a quality live show from the vault with Jack.

Nearly 2 years already, holy shit. Aren't they due to release another one soon? Didn't they talk about that in interviews or something, like some kind of EPs at at least?

Yeah, I'd be quite happy with a No Code reissue right about now.

I think Mike said something like that around the time of Backspacer or even S/T. Personally, I'd love that. Who needs a whole album filled with a mix of good, mediocre, and crappy songs? I'd love to see the boys knock out EPs every few years from this point on, each with just 3 to 5 songs > mini tour > new EP > mini tour > new EP > mini tour > etc...I think that would shake things up and keep it more interesting for the next few years before they are all 60.

I'd be surprised if nothing happened this year; they're taking practically the whole year off from the road, and it's not like there needs to be a long recovery time apart from a marathon touring year.

I thought the Soundgarden album was the next project for Cameron then another PJ. So it's surprised me that Cornell has a solo album about to be released.

I can't see there being a new PJ until late 2017.

Chris is touring his solo record from September through to December, I guess there's a chance Soundgarden might be working on something in July/August (particularly as they have that one-off show in Canada in mid-July).

Agreed, particularly if there is a new Soundgarden record in 2016. Soundgarden being solidly on the road for a while might even push that out further.

I guess there's a chance that PJ work through October before the SA tour. Possibly even enter the studio before or after the tour.

Who the fuck am I kidding.

I'm looking forward to the next PJ album about as much as I'm looking forward to the next Simpsons season

You know if they came out and said they've got an album in the can that was recorded and mixed quickly over a fortnight AND self produced, I'd get pretty excited.

But again - Who the fuck am I kidding.

I can see myself at some distant point in the future listening to this exactly once and then forgetting it exists.

Are they still together? Ten was a pretty good album.

The right thing to do would have been to credit the author of that quote on Twitter

wouldn't it just be so great to listen to a 14-minute version of Ole with Dave A ripping away on hi hat trills?

wouldn't it?
