There are chapter summaries for all of the books on http://awoiaf.westeros.org/index.php/Chapters.

From GRRM's Livejournal today (how about the fact that this guy uses a Livejournal?):
Spoiler: show
As for the Night's King (the form I prefer), in the books he is a legendary figure, akin to Lann the Clever and Brandon the Builder, and no more likely to have survived to the present day than they have.

Interesting...

Don't you wish you had time to sit around and come up with batshit insane theories like this one? (includes spoilers for the alleged "previously-on" that will appear before tonight's episode): http://www.reddit.com/r/asoiaf/comments ... y_on_game/

I've been reading the forums over at westeros.org today and some are saying they think Trystane will be revealed to be Aegon. Not sure I buy that one.

This could work, but why would he send him to King's Landing? That'd be uber-dangerous.

John's parentage being revealed will probably be the big bomb that'll drop first; he'll be stabbed right after that for a nice 1-2 punch.

And, of course, Cersei is going to be in her birthday suit. I feel like the limited amount of nudity this season has been used to build up to that.

Yeah, part of why I don't really buy it.

I actually think the Walk of Shame will take place next season. She'll confess in the finale, but we won't see the walk.

I think they're going to go super-cliffhanger-y with this one.

1. Is John dead or alive?
2. Will Cersei's walk be enough to placate the Sparrow?
3. Will Stannis take Winterfell? (still not convinced that'll be revealed this season)
4. Where's Dany? What happens to the other dragons?
5. Something happens to the people coming back from Dorne, not sure of their fate

They teased us with a potential pink letter before Ollie came and got him.

For us, I feel like Melisandre just getting into Castle Black in time tells you all you need to know. But I'm not so sure show-watchers are going to get it right away--how long since we've seen the BHWB?

Although, as people have been saying for years: at this point, the biggest "twist" GRRM could pull would be for Jon to be dead for good.

The previously on scenes for the season 6 premier will have Melisandre meeting with the BHWB.

There's no way they're going to be able to hide the fact that Kit Harrington will be on set when they're filming next season. Maybe he'll sit out a whole year?

I really hope Winds of Winter is out before season starts.
