Right Song/Wrong Album: Ten
What songs on Ten do you wish were released on different albums (and why)? What songs from other albums do you wish came from Ten?

Re: Right Song/Wrong Album: Ten
This is unfortunately a crappy album to launch this thread series with (damn you, chronological order!) since the sound and feel of Ten is one of the biggest outliers in the catalog.
I would have liked to hear how Porch would have sounded on Vs. I don't know if the song, which feels expansive, especially the ending, would have done well with the tightly coiled pressure cooker feeling of the counterpart songs on Vs. but I'd love to find out.
Nothing obvious springs to mind for songs I wish were on Ten. Maybe Force of Nature. The youthful optimism on that album may not work well with the weathered feel of the song, but that's also a song that should sound louder and a bit more larger than life--especially the beginning.

Id love to hear a version Oceans inspired by the No Code/Yield era.

Re: Right Song/Wrong Album: Ten
I think oceans belongs on no code because it has that loose and wafty sound to it.
the song I would displace to ten? blood. why? because it sounds hard and slappy.
( not sloppy.)

It would be cool to hear them re-record Release and Oceans using the binaural recording system.
I'd like to hear "Got Some" on Ten. Could benefit from a more robust, anthem rock feel.

This probably isn't quite the intention of this thread, but I would love to hear a Ten-era take on Radiohead's "Optimistic".
