I have not seen it. Generally speaking, I'm not really drawn to martial arts movies.
This is more of a comedy, but does involve martial arts.

I explain (in quite a bit of detail) why I like the movies I mention and why I think "so bad it's good" is a dismissive misnomer. I don't like terrible movies. That's kind of what the whole piece is saying.
The terrible movies comment was a throw back to a few days ago. But you do like terrible movies. But you do a very good job of explaining why and how (to you) they aren't terrible.

It was a fine article, friend. And I know you're not trying to talk down to anyone. But it does come across that way. I just wanted you to be aware of that. It works both ways, that's all.

I don't usually like the purposefully "so bad it's good" stuff, as you can't be in on the joke for it to be funny, but I give a pass to Kung Fury for having its own voice and inventiveness. Its a pretty good spoof movie. And is short, so it doesn't wear out its welcome.

The length of Kung Fury is perfect. But I also hesitate to use the word spoof. That's probably a part of it, but it doesn't really feel like it's making fun to me. Which I associate with spoofing. Which is maybe my fault. Not that you can't make fun of something you love, but Kung Fury feels like a real heart project. It comes across as completely free of irony to me. It's just a blast.

But, yeah, any longer and it couldn't sustain itself as is.

Man of Steel really sucked. The first 20 min was so good & then it just sank into shitty.

Big Hero 6 was a surprise.

MegaMind was great too.

The Kingsmen was nuts. Very fun.

HER was really good. No typically my type of movie.

the new Godzilla was not good.

Unbroken was zzzzzzzzzzzzz

I wonder if I'll ever have a strong desire or NEED to see a movie in a theater again.

Hmm, tough one. Off the top of my head (and excluding Mel and Cruise, since my love for them is well-known):

Tom Hardy
Oscar Isaac
Parker Posey
William Fichtner
Tyrese Gibson

Again, that's very much an "off the top of my head" answer.
