It was fractured, disorientating, and definitely one of the dreamier episodes that I can remember seeing.

I love how it answered practically nothing from season 2's finale. Just a snippet of Hannibal and Bedelia's european tour

I also adored the scene where Hannibal whacks the guy in the head and then calmly asks Bedelia if she's observing or participating. He totally owns her mind.

Amazing. I am so happy that this type of show is on network television. This is not a show you can just come in and watch a random episode and be blown away. It is so well written that it deserves the attention of sitting down and engaging yourself in it. I just, i, I love it.

I could sit and talk to Mads Mikelson as Hannibal for hours.

It's amazing he has been able to make the character as beautiful/creepy/intense/engaging as Anthony Hopkins has. Its also nice that Mads portrayal is able to be fleshed out over a multi season television format, but its totally worth it.

Amazing. I am so happy that this type of show is on network television. This is not a show you can just come in and watch a random episode and be blown away. It is so well written that it deserves the attention of sitting down and engaging yourself in it. I just, i, I love it.

When I watch it I either make sure no one is home or tell everyone in the house to shut the fuck up because I want to hear nothing but the conversations in this show

Season 3 feels so different already, but it still so clearly feels like Hannibal at the same time. Lots of beautiful/frightening imagery going on in last night's episode.

The broken heart turning into the stag freaked the crap out of me. Also, I totally fell for the trick they pulled to make us think Abigail had survived. After the initial shock to see she was alive, I was a little disappointed and felt like it was out of character for the show somehow. So I was relieved that it was all in Will's head and she really was dead. I should've known

Also, major chills when Will looked down to the entrance of the cave/cavern or whatever it was, and realised that Hannibal was probably down there. "He hasn't gone anywhere. He's still here". *Shudder*

This should be on Netflix so I can binge watch the whole season. One per week is driving me insane.

I haven't seen the preview, but I wouldn't be surprised if Crawford is dead. Given how Fuller and co. like to mess with the canon I can see them doing the show without him, but with him popping up in dreams/flashbacks and somehow helping clarify Will's position on the side of good instead of Lecter's evil. He's not vital to the story at this point anymore, and depending on what happens with Alana it could further cement Will's isolation and show that he's pretty much alone in trying to find and capture Lecter.

Abigail being alive didn't sit right with me at all, so I was both relieved/saddened with the reveal that she's in Will's head. Comparing her to Lucy and the ball, with Hannibal giving her back to Will and then taking her away yet again....I felt so sad for Will

I'm so excited for where this season is going.

Does anyone feel like this show could rein in the waking-nightmare stuff a little bit, in favor of maybe 15% more tradiitonal storytelling? I love how disturbing and claustrophobic and droney the show can get but it's reaching self-parodical levels.

I do agree that last night's episode especially was a little much.
