I could maybe live without another scene where blood/water comes flowing and drowns someone.

Minor complaint though, because everything else is just so good.

Does anyone feel like this show could rein in the waking-nightmare stuff a little bit, in favor of maybe 15% more tradiitonal storytelling? I love how disturbing and claustrophobic and droney the show can get but it's reaching self-parodical levels.

I think they got very full of themselves this episode with that stuff. Was definitely way too much. I could have watched 15 minutes of this episode and had just the same impact. it can be useful but this episode in particular seemed to rely heavily on it like they had no story to tell and just wanted to try and creep the viewer out.

What a strange episode. I don't like Will so far this season, but I'm sure there is some grand plan.
Spoiler: show
I do like the concept of Fishburne chasing Will chasing Hannibal
Also, the preview for next week looks pretty interesting.

I loved the scene in the dining room. Finally, some humor.

I didn't love this episode as much as the previous too, but there was still lots of good stuff.
Spoiler: show
Wasn't a huge fan of the Chiyo stuff. I'm on board with the idea that Hannibal was in control of pretty much everyone he comes into contact with, and I kinda dug that he holds this power over her with what turns out to be a lie. Nice spin on the origin tale to suggest that Hannibal wasn't forced to eat Mischa but rather did it of his own free will. But what did she do to him first? I'm interested. Having said that, despite that I found the scenes between Chiyo and Will a bit boring. Made the episode drag for me.

The scene at the dinner table was hilarious. Hannibal is always a riot at the dinner table. "That might have been impulsive" :haha:
Bedelia sure as hell isn't observing any longer either. I have no idea what will happen to her.

Jack on the hunt for Will, Will on the hunt for Hannibal...and for the first time you can tell that Hannibal knows the end is near. Aside from the finale, the scene where Bedelia says he will soon be caught showed us Hannibal looking visibly upset. Gave me the old goosebumps again!

Will's messed up nod to Buffalo Bill was pretty cool, but I'm ready for the pace to be picked up a notch.

It's pretty much guaranteed that this will be the final season, right? I really can't see NBC renewing it with the ratings it's getting. It hit an all-time low the last couple of weeks, with Secondo doing only slightly better than Primavera.

I hope they're able to reach some sort of resolution, story-wise.

Goddammmit people with their shitty tastes in TV. This is such a fantastic show that needs to be seen.

Of course I dont want to see a good show go on forever but this show is too good to be cancelled. Maybe netflix will pick it up.

I might be prepared to call this my favorite network drama since Homicide.

I'd say there is a good chance Amazon picks it up. There looking to give there service a boast and they own the streaming right already.
