I hope they play Providence; it's a longshot, but they owe it to that longest-serving 10C member to come down here. But if not, I'd much rather go to the Fleetcenter than to Great Woods.

I dunno, if that 9/15 date for Pittsburgh that was suggested earlier in this thread pans out, seems unlikely it would be 30 days later they play New England. Unless they are moving all their equipment by environmentally friendly alpacas.

but the ticket raffle will be before November, just buy them then let it lapse.
Also, I had no problems getting tix to both nights back in 09. Did you?
Neh no problems then, but I guess that wasn't the lottery. Where were you located? i was probably row 20-25 in the middle aisle on the floor both nights

and to be listed underneath an American Idol winner...? ouch. but, really, they aren't the Pumpkins anymore. should be listed as "Billy Corgan Plays The Smashing Pumpkins"

This is actually only 20 minutes from where I live. The saddest part for the Pumpkins is that they aren't even on the main stage. They're headlining one of the side stages while Train and that American Idol dude are in the ampitheatre.

I'll post this one again just so you can be wowed.
Oh man.
I remember going to their show in Biloxi in '96.
Dude! I met them there. I worked at the coliseum sharpening the ice skates and the booth was right outside the dressing rooms. I was sick as a dog that day, fever and all. Came into work and saw catering menus up in the little hallway going back to the private rooms by my booth and thought to myself, "HOLY SHIT". Well I met Billy and James and they asked if I was going to the show. I was sooo sick. I told them no I gave my tickets to my friends because I was sick and they asked if I wanted to see the show from the side of the stage! Guys, I was so sick I had to turn them down. Vomiting, fever and all that. It would have been a dream for 15 year old me!
