Totally "sequel set-up."

You know what else really bothered me? That the filmmakers chose to spend a bunch of time with two annoying kids when B.D. fucking Wong is in their movie.

Nothing really "bothered" me about this movie except that, for the 4th movie in a row, people can outrun dinosaurs when it's convenient.

So there wasn't a Spinosaurus in the park. It's not like they had exhausted the list of Giant Ass Scary As Fuck Dinosaurs, so why in the hell did they make one up?

I dont know, the whole motivation for the creation of the "villain" is flawed. It's a pretty big problem.

Sure, but I'd say it's secondary to the movie having no understanding of pacing, shot construction, character devlopment, visual awe, how special effects should implemented, etc. God this movie was a mess.

It really was so bad on every level, except the aforementioned Mr. DNA.

Were there any dinosaurs in this that weren't CGI? Besides various body parts (i.e., the raptor heads and the dying brontosaurus).

Don't be dumb. There was plenty of well-done character development in both of Spielberg's films. Let's not act like what makes the first movie a classic is just that it had dinosaurs and special effects - it was expertly crafted blockbuster entertainment. Yes, that involves character development.

I enjoyed this. There's so much you could pull apart in this movie if you wanted to, but it's just a dumb Hollywood movie and at its essence was fun!
