I get that. I felt the same way about Joffrey's death. Maybe it's because I was never very attached to Stannis? I don't know. Felt right to me. And it may well be a good deal more than what we get in the books on the subject. So...
Also, there's still the very real possibility that he's not dead.
They're all dead. every single fucking one of them, and its actually pretty amazing given the history of this show that somehow, someway, people (myself included) are trying to come up with ways that they could still be alive.

The Stannis one is only interesting because we don't see it. That's a pretty fucking weird choice. To me that stinks of misdirection.

A lot of my attachment to Stannis has to do with Stephen Dillane. He just made every scene amazing. I don't even like Stannis as a character that much. I do enjoy his story, though. Let's see where George takes it.

Totes. Way too character driven. Coherent narrative. Production values. Excellent fight scenes. Brilliant performances. Smart dialogue. Expensive sets and costumes. No wonky or "bonkers" direction.
He'd hack his own arm off before the first episode ended.
