I'm starting to wonder if they cut her out entirely for two reasons: 1) They really didn't think that she enhanced the endgame enough to bother and 2) they thought it would tip their hand about Jon Snow. If Jon really is going to be resurrected, I can understand cutting LSH. Too much of a good thing, yaknow? There'd be so much less suspense.EJ wrote:durdencommatyler wrote:SEVERAL times.cutuphalfdead wrote:Beric Dondarrion survived death.

I'm also on the "Probably cut" side. Nevertheless, next season just miiiight be the season where she'd fit as I think they return to the Riverlands next season. One of the casting rumours might be Meribald and Jaime being sent to the Riverlands next season would make sense. Jaime returning with Myrcella being dead could end in Cersei sending him away. (Even though...this is the time Cersei sent her letter asking Jaime for help, so I don't really know)

Jaime should have been in the Riverlands instead of ever going to Dorne.

It's so silly, but I really do keep holding out hope that they'll get her into the story. It's dumb. She's not gonna be in it and I just need to come to terms with that. But I you're right. There is still time. And it would make sense to do it next season based on exactly what you've said.

At the expense of the entire Dorne storyline, and Jaime's internal struggle as he faces off against the Blackfish.durdencommatyler wrote:But we got that really great moment between him and his daughter.cutuphalfdead wrote:Jaime should have been in the Riverlands instead of ever going to Dorne.

And then she died because of Sand Snake reasons. Killing little girls because your boyfriend died in a voluntary fight.
At least one of them has...a bad pussy?

All in due time, friend. But if I'm honest... I don't really remember Jaime's storyline in the books very well.cutuphalfdead wrote:At the expense of the entire Dorne storyline, and Jaime's internal struggle as he faces off against the Blackfish.durdencommatyler wrote:But we got that really great moment between him and his daughter.cutuphalfdead wrote:Jaime should have been in the Riverlands instead of ever going to Dorne.

I enjoyed his internal struggle of trying to stay true to his oath of not taking arms up against a Tully while obeying Cersei's orders to end the siege against the blackfish. Also, he meets up with Lancel which sets the stage for the storyline with the sparrows and the faith militant.durdencommatyler wrote:All in due time, friend. But if I'm honest... I remember the internal struggle. And it's a lot of why I ended up kinda liking Jaime.cutuphalfdead wrote:I enjoyed his internal struggle of trying to stay true to his oath of not taking arms up against a Tully while obeying Cersei's orders to end the siege against the blackfish. But I really don't remember him meeting Lancel. I haven't read those books in forever.

Arya? Cercei? Sam? The Alchemist? Didn't like any of that stuff, huh?
Yeah, I loved the stuff in the Iron Islands. I mean, I fucking LOVED it. I really hope they work that stuff into the show, even if somewhat changed or truncated.

Yeah, like Chud said, they would've been much more compelling storyline than the bum fluff we got out of Dorne. And, I'm with you, I really hope they bring them into the fold next season.
