Silkworm are an odd band. It might not hit right, or if at all, but when it does. It DOES. This was the record that did it for me. I remember passing on this LP at the old Kim's on St. Marks and it was still sealed. I felt bad about it. Next time I was there the record was right where I left it, but opened. After getting LIFESTYLE, I went on to try and track down the rest of the discography. I pretty much snagged the entire lot over the course of a year or so, just short of a a single or two. Lost it all in a fire and now I'm slowly getting it all back.

I emailed Tim from the band about how much this record meant to me, and how I lost it. He mailed me one of his last remaining copies, free of charge.

Fuck I love Silkworm.
