Bad call on the punt fumble. Alabama will have this game sewn up by halftime.

All season long when I was pissed about ND being a fraud.....its all about to become worth it.

It seems to always happen when ND makes it to a big bowl.verb_to_trust wrote:welp, this game is already over.

By pure win loss records at least they had an argument this year, even if they didn't have many signature wins, as you noted.verb_to_trust wrote:That's because they don't belong in a big bowl

The Oklahoma win at one time looked pretty good. Now, not so much considering the Sooners have had a nasty habit of getting thumped a few times this year. They beat Stanford, that's it.
I agree they deserved to be in this game based on the system that is in place, but it is completely obvious now that these two teams are on the field that the Irish do not belong.

I was watching the FA Cup Liverpool match and the owner chairman of the team they were playing had an extremely hot wife. The English announcer said something to the effect of "well, it looks as if he already has one trophy."

Urban Meyer is a guest on the halftime commentary--I want him to just yell out "My undefeated OSU team should have gotten a fucking chance against Bama instead!"

Thank God for the new BCS system -- if OSU didn't get caught cheating, Alabama wouldn't have even played in this game, and we once again would have had an undeserving "champion."

Thank God the Irish beat USC and the Gators didn't have to play tonight.

I wonder if NFL teams will have second toughts about Te'o after this game. He's getting tossed aside by Bama's backs like a rag doll on virtually every play.

Re: 2012-2013 Bowl Games
wow, I really thought the ND front 7 would show up.
That said, I don't think we should read to much into this. Brian Kelly has had a good year, he's not even remotely in the ball park of Nick Saban. Saban has proven over and over again that given extra time he is uniquely able to get the young men in his charge to focus on a level mostly unseen at the college level. ND has some excellent talent on defense, but they really haven't seen anyone this year with the ability of Alabama. With a so so offense and that much time off, it was going to be harder for ND to be ready. Alabama's offensive line is no joke, Eddy Lacy is huge and AJ McCarron is way way undersold as a signal caller at least on the college level.
This is just another example of how good Nick Saban is at his craft in college football. His team makes very very few negative plays.

I was just about to post the same thing. I've also been really unimpressed with his tackling technique in this game.Chris_H_2 wrote:I wonder if NFL teams will have second toughts about Te'o after this game. He's getting tossed aside by Bama's backs like a rag doll on virtually every play.

Yeah Teo has not looked like an NFL player at all in this game.
This is even worse than those games Ohio State got drubbed in.

Except going undefeated in the Big 10 this year is like being the smartest kid in remedial math.

I agree with most of that, but the biggest thing i've noticed is the difference in speed. ND just do not have the athletes to keep up tonight...
