yeah, but it's being played because it's a fun old song--not because anyone is taking the message seriously anymore.Chris_H_2 wrote:a band in its 50's playing leash live to a bunch of 40 somethings should be pretty embarrassing
oh, and as pete said, it's a pretty shitty song to begin with

Any rock song from the last four albums would sound better on any of the first five albums.

I was going to say Yellow Moon, but I already love the feel of that one. The bridge could be a little stronger maybe, if it was vsified. But then again Vs. isn't a very subtle album and I like the restraint in that song

Aside from being about "Leash", that seems like a spot-on self-portrait, prissy pants

Man, leash is great, love the music, the lyrics...the overall feeling of it. And i love that they are playing it and i hope to see it live.
Johnny guitar is another one i would like to hear in the vs era; the bridge reminds me of this album.

At the risk of overexplaining, I hope it was clear that I am very much in the pro-Leash camp too.VinylGuy wrote:Man, leash is great, love the music, the lyrics...the overall feeling of it. And i love that they are playing it and i hope to see it live.
