I feel like Got Some could fit on this album with some more guitar wankery.

I like Whipping on Vitalogy, but I could see it working on Vs. Seems to fit the more aggressive attitude of the album.

And more of a slower intensity. Back when they didn't think an intense song equated to break-neck speed.

Forgive me if this has been asked, but with all of the audio/recording/mixing talent around here is it possible for one of these RMers to take a song like "Got Some" and fix it to make it sound like it came from the Vs. recording sessions?

Too many variables, Coach. Even if you had access to the multi track tapes you couldn't make it sound like a Vs track. Drums alone are defined by the room they are rec'd in and the mics used, let alone the way they are played. Dave and his DW drums are significantly different to the Yamaha kit I think Matt was playing in 08-09.

Then there's the guitars (clean track, FX, amp, mic etc).

I don't know but here it is sung by Harper Vedder

That's still better than the Just Breathe techno track.

Good to know and thanks for the explanation; I see what folks can do (soundboard remaster series is one example) and I honestly thought it was somewhat possible...and you can chalk that up to "wishful thinking" on my part :)
