Are you saving your Post-Strike team for the Tournament of Champions?

Yeah, we'll definitely have a Tournament of Champions once we get through the eras. Your team has to be in it, Skitch.

I don't think the Franchise teams should be in that one, since we're gonna do the Franchise tournament every October. The Red Sox will get a chance to defend their title.

If everybody else wants the Franchise teams in it, we can do that. But I thought the idea was to do the Franchise one as an annual thing and make it its own thing.

Alright. I've generated a draft order through random.org. Procedure from the last draft dictates that the defending champion gets to pick where in the draft he goes (last time Skitch, chud, and numbers all chose their slots since it was our first post-tournament draft). I'll take the #1 overall pick. As always, this is a snake-style draft, so the order reverses in each round. The draft clock officially starts on Monday morning, but I will go ahead and make my first pick after work on Sunday night, and we can kick things off then (with nobody being allowed to be skipped over until the clock starts Monday morning).

Anyways, the draft order is...
Spoiler: show
Lament
Kaius
TBAMTS
Argo
Skitch
Ruddo
Phil
Numbers
#BRL
chud
Feel free to send proxy picks to those who pick after you in round one on Sunday night if you want to help us get things rolling. I think everyone but Ruddo was in the last draft, but if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

I've actually got two guys I'm deciding between. But if you guys seriously want to start, I can pick. But we're still not starting the clock until Monday morning.

Does not matter to me.

I was looking at 1959 White Sox stats today. What a fun team.

Not a lot of offensive firepower. But then again, none of the Sox teams of that era could hit. A lot of older fans would tell you the 1964 team that finished one game out of first was actually the best Go Go Sox team. Their pitching staff was crazy good that year.
