I really like the Midland.
I don't think I've been there before. I really like Starlight Theatre there.

Starlight is great and easy to get to. I saw Arcade Fire and the National there a few years ago. Excellent show.
Widespread Panic rolling in there tonight. Might not be your thing, but it could be. Check it out!

Oh my gosh, I was there too.
Nice. Such a great show! I really want to see the National when it's just them. In a dark club and a longer set. It was weird seeing them in a setting like that. They gave AF a run for their money though. Both were incredible. One of my top shows I have seen.

If we ever end up at the same show again a beer is on me.

It was a great show and a beautiful night. Two of my favorite bands on the same bill, can't beat it.

I'll hold you to that beer. I'll get the second round.

Paul McCartney.

Fogerty, Foo Fighters, and Mudhoney on the horizon. Maybe Failure in August.

Isn't the dude from Linkin Park the singer for STP now? I don't care enough to google it. If this is true :haha: . Sorry, I just can't stand Linkin Park. :|

Going to the 4th of July bash in DC and then that one. I wish he'd just cancel everything and wait until he's better.

Oh, I know. It was pretty awful watching him imitate Weiland, but I actually really like the DeLeos. They were the saving grace there.

Gods' Die wrote:Seeing Ryan Adams with Houndmouth tonight. Saw Spoon last week (was supposed to see Decemberists same night but we left during an hour plus lightning/rain delay.

Saw Father John Misty in April. Holy fuck, his stage presence has grown tenfold since we saw him open for Cat Power.

And we saw the Replacements with Strat a week or two later...and they were incredible.

So it's been a good concert season thus far this year.
How'd you like Houndmouth? They are pretty great live, yeah?

It was alot of fun. Way moreso than I anticipated going in. Our assigned seats via the lottery were absolute shit. Side stage, obstructed view motherfuckers. But we moved and found a pair of empty seats with a decent view, that through some miracle no one claimed for the entire show. I've seen plenty of werid shows in my day, and some wacky fucking crowds, but this one was a total freakshow. It was hilarious. Very glad I went.

I've seen a few Kid Rock sets at festivals. Say what you will about him but give him credit; the guy know how to put on a show.

Anyone seen Imagine Dragons lately? They're next on my list.
