That was like 300x better than episode one, and I liked episode one.

I think it would be balls-to-the-wall awesome if they killed Velcoro off in episode two. Someone on reddit mentioned last week that nearly every scene in the pre-season trailer was from episode one, and it never crossed my mind that that would be the reason why.

Watched episode one twice last week, and didn't notice it if it was there...but loved the Lone Star Beer sign in the bar.

Spoiler: show
imdb has colin farrell down for all eights eps, and that'd be a lot of flashbacks

good episode

but yeah wtf

and is the fucking bird head necessary? seems a little ridiculous. We don't need another season of bizarre occult shit.

Right behind the sex swing there were a bunch of other big animal heads hanging on the wall. Seems the killer just picked it up for convenience's sake when he offed Caspere.

Even if Velcoro survives that, he's going to spend a few weeks out of commission--and for an 8-episode series, that's a lot.

The other great scene from last night was Frank "helping" that guy after the car crash. The most convincing and comfortable Vaughn has been through the first two episodes.

and that scene made me think that the uncomfortable nature in the rest of his scenes may be by design. He's basically Avon Barksdale trying to be Stringer Bell in the other scenes.

I thought of that analogy right after posting my initial thoughts. Just like String, he did his homework and got in bed with the "right" people--only to have the rug pulled out from under him.
