In any case, tomorrow is Magic Mike XXL day. Fuck this movie.

Yeah ... I'm gonna wait for the $4 theater, or maybe Netflix.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

If Jai Courtney fought Sam Worthington and Taylor Kitsch, would anyone care?

Thanks for pointing out what the nostalgic part was.fitzy wrote:GOD FORBID anyone like some stupid entertainment that has a bit of nostalgia (Arnold) and a new approach on familiar material.
It'll be big & dumb and a good waste of 2 hours on a rainy day.

Re: abortion : Terminator Genisys
That second review I posted goes into some better recent examples of rebooting that worked. Jurassic World in particular, which though it wasn't a great movie, actually managed to excite people about it and pump intrest back into the franchise.cutuphalfdead wrote:Thanks for pointing out what the nostalgic part was.fitzy wrote:GOD FORBID anyone like some stupid entertainment that has a bit of nostalgia (Arnold) and a new approach on familiar material.

God knows, my 8 year old is now begging to watch the original.

Alan Taylor is maybe the worst working director. The whole movie is seriously plot exposition. It's insane.

Re: abortion : Terminator Genisys
So it is well known I'm a sucker for mindless action flicks (Battleship, Battlefield: L.A., John Cater, etc). That being said, this was just bad .
Terminator Salvation wasn't a horrible movie, why didn't they continue on with that story line? This was all over the place and they didn't even make an attempt to cover up the countless faults with their time jumping bullshit.
One more thing:
