I'm a fan of it, but I may have been the only one.
I actually prefer the non-draft tournaments to the draft ones, but I like the idea of rotating between them. After this one, the next one will probably be the Second Annual Franchise Tournament (in early October, once the 2015 stats are added to WhatIf), followed by (assuming it's not deemed too difficult) the Live Ball Era (1920-1946) Tournament. And then possibly a tournament where everybody who has been in each Era tournament assembles a Best Of team from each of their previous teams.
I know you guys also want to do a Tournament with a pot for the winner at some point too. We'd have to decide what kind of tournament to make it though. I think it should be separate from the Era and Franchise tournaments.

I love the regional idea, but I'm a bit unique in that I have a whole country to draw from (as relatively uninspiring as Canada's baseball history may be). I know some people mentioned the inequalities in options, but we could always use a salary cap or something to balance things out a bit.

Pot isn't legal where I live.

I love a regional idea. I'd love to run a Midwest/heartland team.

When this draft is over I am going to work on a potential roster for fun. if it sees the light of day awesome. If not oh well. I don't think anyone would fight me for this region. I think I can put together a pretty solid squad.
