Actually, I didn't see it yet. Was busy last night so we will watch it tonight.
Okay, phew!

We can chat about it tomorrow, then.

Yeah the pilot was legit. Totally fantastic. I'm so looking forward to getting home and watching ep 2 tonight. It's almost all I can think about.

I love a good flawed hero. Seems like they have a good grasp on this world and the story they want to tell and they're using flawed characters to tell it. These aren't brand new characters. There is a bit of archetyping going on. But no one is a caricature, so far. Though, the show did take one minor step backward in the feminist/hero trope department. It wasn't anything that felt forced or lazy. It was all really well done.

Episode 3 maintained the high quality of the previous two episodes...

This show is very good.
I started watching this and True Detective at the same time. If you would have told me a USA show was gonna be lightyears better than TD, I would have laughed in your face, but...

Wasn't blown away by that last episode - pretty much just seemed like filler

This weeks episode started out pretty well then went downhill pretty fast. Worst one so far. But, next week's looks strong.
