The other great scene from last night was Frank "helping" that guy after the car crash. The most convincing and comfortable Vaughn has been through the first two episodes.

and that scene made me think that the uncomfortable nature in the rest of his scenes may be by design. He's basically Avon Barksdale trying to be Stringer Bell in the other scenes.
I thought of that analogy right after posting my initial thoughts. Just like String, he did his homework and got in bed with the "right" people--only to have the rug pulled out from under him.
nice
it was his best scene so far, really

the other stuff doesnt look natural for him

After reading a few lengthy recaps, it's interesting to note how many things keep coming back to Ani and her family. Also, Ray better be dead for real. No way you survive that. Especially when the episode is littered with references to his death.

Man i dont want Ray to be dead at all...i love that character. And yes, Ani`s back roots are interesting...i wasnt sure if she was watching porn because of the case or she was just enjoying it.
Guys, Vince Vaughn is owning his part.

Taylor Kitsch still sucks though.

Loved the BPB over the closing credits. I did a quick lyrics search and couldn't find anything, so it may be an original song.

What was that line he said at the end, "If you want to help me..."? I couldn't understand it.

You mean what Velcoro said? He told her that if she wanted to thank him, she could tell him what the DA/county/whatever had on him.

I'll be rewatching this and episode 2 again soon. Great TV.

Can't get into this season at all and seems to be getting worse by the week. Also agree with whoever said Taylor Kitsch sucks....because he does.

This season reminds me of a Grand Theft Auto game.

I really enjoyed the ending of the episode but it's really hard to get invested in these characters. I just don't care about them.
