In honor of PJ 25, Pearl Jam shall celebrate self-reflection yet again; this time determined to Backspace the misdoings of the Backspacer era. Having spent 6 years since the release of Backspacer toiling about the planet's First Class Lounges en route between their various vacation homes, Pearl Jam decides they have 'had enough' of the system and raids London Bridge studios for a raucous 32 minute return-to-roots session in which they totally wipe clean the musical skid marks left behind from the sorriness of the Backspacer era. After a modest 86-week, grassroots, down-to-earth, lightshow synthesizer special effects overdub insertion process, "Backspacer-Backspacer" will be released on iTunes exclusively to class C shareholders of Gazprom on October 22, 2015; and later that week to economy-class consumers across the globe. 100 lucky 10C members will be selected at random via a back-to-basics fan club lottery consisting of a locally-sourced 127-step biometric screening process applied by robots to casual rockers with addresses of record in the 10 wealthiest zip codes in OECD countries, to attend a special pre-release lyric-reading party to be held in the car port of producer Brendan O'Brien's bayside condo timeshare in Corpus Christi, TX. A sneak peak of the lyrics to the album's first single, "The Fixer Fixer", will be released one word per day following an every-other-day SPECIAL PJ FORTHCOMING announcement via the PJ.com Twitter feed. Fast-forwarding 126 SPECIAL and enjoyable days into the future, the first verse of their return-to-grunge-roots single comes into shape:
Naaah, Naaah, Naaaah
When something sucks, let me make a later reference to it
When something's old, let me put a little uke on it
If somethings cold, I want my 'ssitant put some heat on it
When somethings dumb, I wanna write to fix it up again
nah, nah, nah, nah, write to fix it up again
nah, nah, nah, nah, nah
The first 20 attendees of the lyirc pre-release party will receive a hand-written trespassing citation signed by BOB's gated community policeman, who was not made aware via signed facsimile of the date and time of the pre-release party, at least 21 days prior to the commencement of the event, in accordance with the bylaws of the Del Vaca Grande Playa Condominium Association; while supplies last, or until such time as BOB speeds up from the raquet club in his convertible pink mazda miata to straighten things out at the security gazebo.

I keep hoping that the band is going to describe one of their albums as an illogical extension of its predecessor, but I'm not sure what exactly that would entail.
