No pearl jam session produced greater gaps between my esteem for the best material and my disappointment with the worst than Binaural.

I think pretty much everything around that era was pretty solid. Like above average to excellent. It's the final product that I think is most frustrating.

I may agree, but I think that's due more to the heights the greatest material achieves.

Take of I'm Open and put on Dead Man.

edit:
Oh wait, that doesn't really follow the rules for this thread.

It'd be interesting to hear Sometimes recorded for Riot Act, and Can't Keep recorded for No Code.

Present Tense with Binaural production would be interesting.

And good call Stip on Parachutes.

Yellow Moon would have been interesting with the mellower feel of No Code.

I would have liked to hear in my tree on yield as well.

That would be really interesting. The Jack Irons touch on Can't Keep could be phenomenal.

Sad would of been interesting after hail hail

Of the girl would of been a great fit for no code not sure how to fit into track listing.

Man of the hour as a closer would of been sublime

There's no way NC should be closing with anything other than "Around the Bend"

I don't know...Wasn't there a version of Parting Ways recorded back then? That could have been a nice album closer for NC.

Oh man, I love I'm Open and Hail, Hail...let these two stay. Same with Around the Bend.

How 'bout we remove Mankind and replace with Can't Keep, which I think fits No Code really well.
