I really want the Tigers to be sellers at the deadline. Not a full on fire sale, as keeping the guys that are going to be here next year (be it long term contracts or club control) is preferable,

But i imagine we should be able to get some decent returns for Price, Soria and Cespedes, and I think guys like Simon and Avila could have some value to contending teams.

I don't take much pleasure in asking this because I so desperately wanted things to be different, but are you finally ready to admit that the Verlander contract extension was horrible?

I have some concerns

I still hate when anyone refers to the "Red Sox - Yankees rivalry!!1!" (the Dining Playbook guy just did it on NESN); that shit hasn't been relevant for years. However...the Sox do play 4 games against the Yankees (in New York) during the last week of the season. I'd love if those games meant something.
