GODDAMNIT: Han Solo (2018)

I'm all for stand alone SW movies. I think Rogue One will be the darker movie all of us 30-something SW nerds have been craving since ROTJ (granted ROTS was pretty dark). However the franchise needs to offset that darkness with a kiddie SW every once and a while to keep generations of Pod-race-loving kids on the bandwagon.

I'm on the fence about this idea, and of course I'll have to reserve judgment until the movie is released. But part of me can't help thinking that this is just another prequel and that I really don't care how the characters got to where they are. Give me new characters and new adventures, damnit!

Of those listed above I think a Darth Maul would be the best and/or most interesting to me. I do not, however, have any interest in a young Yoda movie. The others, whatever.

A "Rise of the Sith" type movie would be far more interesting. Have it end with Palpatine becoming the new apprentice or something like that (basically what Episode 1 should have been).

I love Star Wars so fucking much and thats why the idea of a young yoda and lando do nothing for me. Also general grievous was stupid.

He was the ONLY cool thing about that movie.
