i stand corrected -- you're right, i also make an exception for when i eat pizza at a restaurant.

i usually like salty and/or spicy things on my pizza (e.g., olives, giardiniera, pepperoni, jalapenos), and the milk is a perfect compliment. this is yet another thing that my wife makes fun of me for.
