The Guest.
I was expecting more. The story is really lame actually, but i loved the production design. Such a shame the script wasnt good.

Pitch Perfect 2. Fucking LOVED it. Haven't laughed so hard/teared up/had that much fun in a movie theater in a long time.

Last...however many:
-Naughty Nurse (1969)
(Killer little satire from Paul Bartel. Frankly I like this more than Eating Raoul.)
-Junkopia (1981)
(Nice attempt. Doesn't really work for me.)
-Premonitions Following an Evil Deed (1995)
-The Amputee (1974)
-The Alphabet (1968)
-Six Figures Getting Sick (Six Times) (1966)
-The Suicide (1978)
-Raw Meat (1972)
(This was genuinely unsettling.)
-Prophecy (1979)
-The Twilight Saga: New Moon (2009)
-The Overnight (2015)
(They really should have put more work into those prosthetic penises, though.)
-Special Effects (1984)
(This was brilliant; probably the best movie about movies I've ever seen. Can't wait to watch more Larry Cohen now.)

When I first saw "The Road" and the scene in the basement, I immediately thought of this movie.LoathedVermin72 wrote: -Raw Meat (1972)(This was genuinely unsettling.)

Re: What movies are you watching?
Yeah, I went in expecting a silly British horror movie, but man the imagery in this thing was viscerally grimy and gruesome. All the scenes in the "lair" were very uncomfortable.E.H. Re: What movies are you watching?
Another worthwhile flick: Güeros
Maybe it's just the B&W, the 4:3, and the constant references to Godard and Bunuel, but it pulled off the "this-feels-like-an-old-movie" feel better than most.
