Not sure if you're joking, but I agree. I'd rather see that movie than a Han Solo stand alone film.
I just feel like they should have steered clear of Han, Luke, Leia, and Vader. Flesh out some people that we haven't followed for this entire series. Tell some stories that happen to other people.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

There are dozens of movies that could be made about the Clone Wars era (between EP2 and EP3).
I would personally prefer a once off focused on some of those fringe Jedi that were highlighted in the Clone Wars cartoon and killed off in super-lame fashion in EP3. My choice would've been Kit Fisto or Plo Koon.

I'd say Shaak Ti or Kit Fisto.

I think an Old Republic trilogy could be badass.

I think a history of the Sith would be nice. I mean pre Episode 1, I had never even heard that word before. It was just sprung on us and we were expected to know what the hell the Sith were and why they wanted their revenge. Big, big missed opportunity to dive into that in EP1.

It was mentioned in the original novel of Ep. 4.

Chris Pratt and Aaron Paul are both also older than Harrison Ford was in 1976.

Sometimes I forget how stupid these names are.

Rogue 1 is very smart. New characters in a story that directly ties into the original trilogy. That's what they should aim for.

So the max Rebo story
