That sucks because Fuller said he had a "radical plan" for a 4th season if it happened.

Yeah, this season has been an enormous drop in quality from season 2. Still good, but way up its own ass and slowwwwww.

Haha, that's a good description. This season is flooding us with things that previously worked really well in small doses.

This season is lacking "normal" conversation. The first two seasons they were solving murders/chasing a serial killer. There was normal interacting with the characters which in turn made the deep conversations they had more special and enjoyable. Now, they are all trying to be deep conversation and it is getting hard to watch because of it.

It isn't any better in tonight's episode, though I am looking forward to the impending convergence of Hannibal hunters.

Its just becoming easy to not pay attention to every moment. It is totally up its own ass with the dream like sequences. Many scenes im wondering to myself if its actually happening or not then drifting off not caring.

That sex scene was fucking hilarious.

This show is coming close to losing me completely.

Mason does a pretty good Tom Brokaw impersonation.

agreed. I think one thing that the first couple episodes of season 3 made me realize was how important the other characters were. While I enjoyed them, they felt a little hollow.

So episode 3 was good, 5 was okay and the rest has been absolutely terrible.

I was just really disappointed in last night's episode.

There's been some shaky moments this season, but I thought last night was great!
Spoiler: show
The sex scene was hysterical, but at least it led to something....the reveal that Alana and Margot are working together to get revenge on Mason. I'm glad that the women actually have a purpose and it wasn't really clear until last night but I like where they've taken it.

Bedelia is a crafty little minx, isn't she. So her plan all along was to bide her time and then deny any knowledge and claim ignorance? I'm very, very surprised that Hannibal didn't kill her. Maybe next week.

Hannibal and Will finally reunited :luv: What a poignant moment, and playing the same music from the season 2 finale slowed down was a lovely touch. Total goosebumps moment for me. I really didn't know where it was going to go. Poor Will has had a tough time of it over the course of the season. Stabbed, pushed off a train, shot, head almost sliced open. Poor guy can't catch a break.

I've not watched next week's preview....I can't wait to see how Hannibal and Will get out of this one. If the Red Dragon arc takes place over the last 6 episodes of the season, does this mean Hannibal is likely to be captured next week?
