you'd think he would catch on the first time he "accidentally" dropped a building on someone's head. It doesn't seem like it would take a long personal journey to learn not to be a d*ckhead.
Burt, how's that journey coming along for yourself?

I'm taking my time.
Are you saying you are better than super man or are you merely illuminating the plight of an every day ordinary joe?

Most recent trailer (different edit from the Comic Con trailer)
How come in this trailer, it seems like they're going to do ANOTHER Batman origin story? How come it looks like Batman is a new thing when all a long they've been saying Batman is coming out of retirement? Did you guys notice the kryptonite? And it's clear that Robin was definitely killed by Joker in this timeline. So again, why do an origin for Batman? How many flashbacks is this movie gonna have? How will there possibly be ANY forward momentum if the whole thing is Bat-flashbacks?
Also, based on the three trailers we've seen, it seems clear that Snyder will again be relegating Lois Lane to the damsel in distress role. How likely do we think it'll be that we see her do something more than whisper and fall out of something so that Superman can heroically save her, yet again?
Lane wasn't a damsel in distress in MOS. And I don't see how the trailers for this paint her as that. She's going to be peripheral, for sure, but with the Bat v Sup conflict and additional superheroes being introduced, how could she not be?
since this is a comic book batman movie shouldn't Bruce Wayne's cell phone have had some kind of gadget to help save all the people in that collapsing building.

Literally, all she did in MOS was fall out of things and get caught by Superman. It was awful.

I know. We get it. You hate Nolan and love Snyder. That's fine. You'll be super thrilled with this movie now matter what happens because Snyder. I hope it's good.

I don't remember this happening once.
How? Watch it again. She's constantly being saved by Superman. All of her gumption and chutzpah is removed. She's neutered and is relegated to damsel in distress for the entire movie. It's so disappointing. I love Amy Adams and really expected more. But she's so neutered in MOS.
For the record, I'm fine with Snyder reinventing the character and doing his own thing. There's no reason why he should be beholden to Nolan's vision. But an origin? Seeing Bruce's parents murdered in an alley.... AGAIN??!!
It's enough. Especially since he's supposed to be older in this. And there are clearly going to be a ton of flashbacks if they're working in Jason Todd too.
