Those are the worst. I used to only get about 190-220 when I was slicing it. It made long par 4's and 5's a real bitch.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:we're about the same...i've been hitting high slices recently that are killing my distanceMonkey_Driven wrote:210-240. Re: Doug and Lenny's all things golf
toward the end of my round last week i altered my backswing just a bit in my backswing and hit a few decent cuts, but still didn't hit it super far...hole 17 short par 4 (like 280 with a slight dogleg right) with a very narrow fairway and trees on both sides...i hit a cut shot that looked like it would end up right around the far right side of the fairway, but we couldn't find it...must have took a bad bounce right because it looked good for the longest...i was so mad!Monkey_Driven wrote:Those are the worst. I hate when you hit a good shot and can't find it. Stupid game.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:toward the end of my round last week i altered my backswing just a bit in my backswing and hit a few decent cuts, but still didn't hit it super far...hole 17 short par 4 (like 280 with a slight dogleg right) with a very narrow fairway and trees on both sides...i hit a cut shot that looked like it would end up right around the far right side of the fairway, but we couldn't find it...must have took a bad bounce right because it looked good for the longest...i was so mad!Monkey_Driven wrote:Those are the worst. i don't really have a good guess as to who will win, and i'm sure he'll be in contention...but my gut is saying he won't pull it off

Re: Doug and Lenny's all things golf
I played golf this weekend. It was very hot, which meant the course was wide open.
Ended up shooting an 83. I had my first 9 in the 30's of the year. Always feels good.

Nothing feels better in golf than a good, pure mid-iron shot.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:if i could just hit an iron in the air i feel like i could shoot a 90ish...i doubt i'll ever be in the 80'sMonkey_Driven wrote:I am just as shocked as you.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:i thought you sucked wtf alexMonkey_Driven wrote:I played golf this weekend.
