It's funny, when Yield first dropped I liked it but it felt light weight to me. Not a ton stuck for the first several months. But Lowlight, DtE and No Way were instant hits for me. And they've remained so every since.

Thankfully, the rest of the album has caught up. Yield is a fucking monster record.
You are speaking my language friend. Keep this up and you just might get laid tonight.

DTE may have been the first song I heard, and I remember being worried about what the hell had happened to Eddie's voice. My first reaction was definitely not 'this is a top 10 song, right here (top 5 for a long time)'

Easily the weakest point on Yield for me and one of my least favourite songs from the first five albums.

I've always liked Low Light a lot and it has aged well in my opinion. It still sounds good to me after 15-18 years. It helps that I never overplayed it.

I've still never seen it live in person. It's one I want sooooooooooooo badly. But I adore the Beneroya Hall version so much. Some of those little vocal melody changes Ed makes make my heart sing along.

It's one of my absolute favorite moments/sections/pieces/etc in the entire PJ catalog.
