I still have high hopes for the next album. Don't think there's a bad one in their catalogue yet (not that their catalogue is all that extensive given the gap between albums)

I really like 10k Days - I think it's held up well since its release

i like it. Rosetta Stoned is my favorite Tool song. There are a few clunkers, though.

10k Days is 1/2 ok, 1/2 snoozefest/filler.

I've almost lost all hope for a new record. Almost 10 years since 10000 days...

Tool has got me thru a lot of shit. Maynard's pictures he paints with his lyrics are very positive, despite what the song, on the surface, may be trying to convey.

"Dorky"?

That's like calling Creed original.

10,000 days refers to the amount of time Maynard's Mother spent in a wheel chair, and all the while held on to her faith and became deeply religious.

"fetch me the spirit the son and the father...tell them their pillar of faith has ascended...its time now, my time now, give me my, give me my wiiiiings....."

its a song about his mom, i dig it.
