So much so that he has taken the time to 'unmaster' a number of poorly mastered albums, including 'Avocado', with some impressive results. His torrent can be found with a quick google, and is definitely worth your time.

The fat muddy frequencies have been removed so it sounds much more like those April 04 demos/rough mixes, with better separation of instruments, crisper guitars and punchier drums. Better yet, you can actually listen to it on headphones without making your ears bleed, which is a plus in my book
I'm really digging this.

I haven't listened to S/T in so long I doubt I'd notice a difference. 2006 live versions or GTFO.

It's fairly noticeable. It's crisper and clearer in a flatter way

I'm pretty sure the answer is Vitalogy.

It's warmer with a touch more separation.

I love the way the songs on Binaural sound like there's so much going on, there's so many nuggets to listen for, always some sounds to dig up with one's ear. I don't know if it has anything to do with the production, but I suspect it has something to do with it.

I'd say No Code...but, doesn't that also belong in the unpopular opinions thread?

*Edited - I just voted and saw my assessment was incorrect. Seems like people are quite fond of NC

Did you know that the Japanese pressing of "Ten" has less reverb? You learn something new every day.

I'm not 19 and I don't live in a dorm and I don't have any patience. Is there anywhere to hear the S/T non brickwall w/o having to do a torrent?

Torrenting isn't hard. There's a link to the torrent in this very thread.

That's the pressing I'm most familiar with, as it was the one I owned when I was in middle school.
