Your images are locked up, but here's the Death Star battle.

Most of the changes don't effect the story. They just erase all the brilliant, ahead-of-their-time work that the special effects artists were able to do in 77.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

That image strat.

I'm always sorta baffled by the amount of hard work and effort goes into design on movies, endless sketches then maquettes into final production. And they only get a brief second or two on screen. One of my favourite things I owned growing up was a vhs tape of the making of Star Wars narrated by mark hamill. Lead me on to Really appreciate all that work and effort and design that goes into films like Star Wars or Lord of the rings.

We're still on a knife edge, these movies may well be awful and we're gonna come down on them like Everest falls my from a height if they are, but at least this time it's tactile and real and that at least is something we should appreciate. I will anyways. Even if I hate it.

Well, you knew by about 30 minutes into watching phantom menace that it was terrible.
This will be no different but I have a lot more faith in Abrams than if Lucas had been at the helm.

Plus both the trailer and footage shown at comic con gave me excited gushy feels so let's hope it's all about that.

You and I should go. I'll be annoyed by your enthusiasm and you'll be annoyed by my lack thereof.
