The stratus is a great disc for left to right backhand shots. I may have already posted a link to this site, but it's awesome for checking out different discs and what they're intended for.

Here's the Stratus compared to similar flying other mid range discs.

so from the looks of that chart, if i throw it far enough, it will start to go back to the left at the end, but for most of its flight it will head right? i read a few reviews that said somehtring about it turning over or being good for a roller and i wasnt sure if that meant it might flip over in flight or somehting like that. if i decide to get another disc, at least right now, all im hoping for is to get one that will hear more to the right on those dog legs.

If you throw RHBH, almost every disc is going to come back to the left - if it stays in the air long enough...

Since Saturday, I have played 126 holes of disc golf. It's no wonder that my right arm and shoulder are aching.

Yeah, even understable discs that initially break right on a RHBH throw will eventually turn back left.

the charts are a representation of how the disc is designed to behave at it's max potential. All kinds of things from speed to spin and nose angle will affect the actual flight and get you different results. best way to get a feel for it is to check out a few of the discs that you're already throwing and comparing your experiences with that disc to the chart for a reference.

the left to right action you're describing is achieved with a "turnover" shot and understable or low HSS (high speed stability) discs are what you're after. These are often called "flippy" discs as well and are great for hyzer flipping as well. If you have access to any Lattitude 64 plastic I would recommend you try out a Diamond. I've yet to get it to finish back to the left.

You can get any disc to finish to the right with the right angles, nose angles and height.

I can throw my mid-range Shark RHBH and get it to end right. Can't do it consistently with my drivers though.

i could do it pretty well with my Buzzz, but i felt like i was throwing it downward pretty hard to get it to go right, and if i would do that with a driver, it would slightly start right but then go back too far left, so if i get the stratus i will see if it makes much of a difference

How much distance can you get out of your shark making it end right?

Well when I do this throw it's never for distance but more for it to get right (Get Right :bammer: ). So usually it takes some distance off, so maybe 175' - 200' max. It's a weird flick I do with my wrist. Probably developed it during my single days between marriage.

New personal best. Everything was flying so well today. I could have done even better if I could have shots back on holes 1, 7, and 11.

I'm going to par this course one of these days and it's going to be glorious. 17 is probably the hardest to par, but all I need to do is put up a birdie somewhere else and I can bogey that and be good.

You guys seem to be some intense disc golfers! I would be afraid to play against you. Much like the same kind of people who throw their golf clubs if they miss a shot?
