I actually kinda like Maynard's side projects. Puscifer has several good songs. I just wish he would take the whole thing a little more serious. But, then again, maybe after the seriousness of Tool that's the whole point for him.

Puscifer's Conditions of my Parole was a great album! The tour that went with it was one of the best I've seen too - nice change to see Maynard be animated and interact with the crowd

10,000 days is pretty bad as an "epic Tool" kinda song. It's got nothing on Third Eye.

All the better when you can absolutely relate to the specific message of the song.

I was just reminded that I saw these guys in 1997 in a small uni bar in Newcastle (capacity 1000). Hot damn it was a great show and I was thankful that I was busy the following night when they played Sydney.

Now that I live in Newie there are very few gigs in town and none in that bar. It used to be a stop to boost ticket sales after the long flight. Either it was first up or played between Brisbane and Sydney. Now they skip it. I saw quite a few shows here and in Gosford and Wollongong.
