10th album rumors and speculation

I would've said the alt. country leaning went all the way back to 'Indifference.' Other songs I can think of are 'Off He Goes', 'Better Man', 'Wishlist', 'Low Light', 'Of the Girl', 'Thumbing My Way', 'Dead Man', 'All or None'... etc etc.

I would not mind if future PJ was along the lines of these tracks.

I really like Wishlist. Damn you. But otherwise yes.

sounds like they are the same tempo with similar drums.

not that it matters.. i'm sure you can find a 2-3 second clip of "the fixer" that sounds good.

My entire reaction was pretty much, "If it is them, it sounds different....thank god."

But considering the way the music's been described in interview, I doubt that 'different' is going to be a very big part of the puzzle, so whatev.

All this Backspacer bashing reminds me that there are some good songs on there that have remained fresh and worth a listen...i.e. Gonna See My Friend. Love that tune.

Also excited for anything new by Pearl Jam. Will likely like it initially regardless. Time will tell. This does seem to be getting closer.
