Also, this ending is gonna be pretty nuts. Last day of the season, and only Garainals are in the playoffs for sure. Paxil Joints and The Chudville Nine at worst will be in play-in games, but one of them could still miss the playoffs if they get swept and SkitchP and Integrated Argos (who are playing Paxil Joints) sweep their matches (and they fail in the play-in games). But The Jerk Stores (who get SkitchP) and Phil City Pritchards are both alive for the final playoff spot as well. We've got six teams playing for three spots.
Reminder: Play-in games only decide the final playoff spot. All spots before that are decided first by head-to-head records, and then by record against the first place team (and then second, and so-on, until the tie is broken). So if four teams finish tied for second, two of them will avoid being in the play-in game via tie-breakers, and the last two will play each other for the final spot. Home field in this game will also be decided by head-to-head record and then record vs. the first place team (and so on).
If three teams end up tied for fourth (with the first three playoff spots already claimed), a mini-play-in tournament will take place. Seeds A and B will play, with the loser playing seed C. The winner of the second game will then face the winner of the first game for the final playoff spot.
ALL PLAY-IN SCENARIOS ARE SUBJECT TO REGULAR SEASON REST RULES. ROTATIONS ARE NOT RESET UNTIL THE PLAYOFFS START.

These series are a 2-2-1-1-1 format. Each team has two chances to start a pitcher on two games' rest. All rotations are reset to full rest at the start of each new round.
For what it's worth The Chudville Nine won the season series with Paxil Joints, 5-1. Garainals won the season series with SkitchP, 4-2.
We'll take tomorrow off and kick off the playoffs on Tuesday. With there being only two games a day now, I may run them in the afternoon instead of the (very) early morning. We'll see though.
The final stats from the abortion that was The Meg Myers Brigade. Pete Rose (my lone holdover from my title team) led my offense in almost everything. Stargell worked his way up to respectability after Cepeda and Oliva got benched, and Horton was a pleasant surprise. Nobody else was good at anything. Oliva and Cepeda were monumentally bad.
Koufax was a pretty big disappointment for the #1 overall pick. McNally was my best pitcher by far, and statistically probably was one of the better pitchers in the league.
