Agreed. And I'm shocked that's true. Barry is still terrible. He's just not an interesting character or actor. They've done a good job at shifting the focus away from him directly.
The rest of the cast is pretty good. I still think it would have been more compelling to have more conflict between Jamal and his son. They may be taking that angle now though.
Well the finale was pretty good. The show really rebounded this season. I guess its somewhat unlikely that it will be back. I guess you could look at the ending as a cliffhanger but just as easily as a definitive ending.

I think that'll be it. Barry is terrible character, Jamal was quite good.

Yeah, ratings aren't too good, and not sure how they would take the story from here. Barry and his wife are both horrible. I liked Jamal and Leila.
Barry grew on me a bit this season when he was doing the freedom fighter thing. I wouldn't want to watch him be the conflicted president/presidents aid again.
I was hoping they'd just let him rot in jail the whole season and keep his family off the show - though the daughter was hot, notice how she basically got written off the show this season?
I actually thought there'd be more conflict with Jamal and his son, and that his son would somehow organize a coup to take over. He ended up being kind of a weak character.
