They'd really take it over the top if they could bring back Sombrero Day too.

I couldn't watch yesterday's game, but Friday's was amazing. Should be fun today... and Price tomorrow!cutuphalfdead wrote:The guy I'm playing in fantasy this week has both Zobrist and Bautista so he has all the home runs today.Chris_H_2 wrote:this blue jays/royals game is fun to watch
Lucchino might be a snake, but he was good at being a snake and the Red Sox will miss that. Anyone who thinks Cherington had anything to do with that Dodgers trade a few years ago is crazy, that was all Larry.elliseamos wrote:Best news I've heard today.cutuphalfdead wrote:holy shit
Sam Kennedy is now president, but will not be involved in baseball operations. So does Ben have more control? Can Allard Baird go too?
Lucchino was also the one behind lowballing Lester, and the one who drove the negative PR campaigns against everyone who leftnumbers wrote:Lucchino might be a snake, but he was good at being a snake and the Red Sox will miss that. One thing I've found funny, all the Sox writers keep making remarks like this is not a surprise, worst kept secret, etc, etc. None of them had the story until yesterday, though.
i wish they'd just get rid of it entirely; that's what the offseason is for.Chris_H_2 wrote:I really wish they would move the deadline back to August 15th
Looking at the Dodgers trade, how much of a part did Larry play in acquiring Gonzalez and Crawford to begin with? How about the decisions to go from Cabrera to Renteria to Lugo? Acquiring Beckett and Lowell worked out great for Larry, but why bring Hanley back now when he doesn't have a position? They finally get a solid season out of Lackey and then trade him a year early. And then there's the Lester negotiations which must have been the final straw.MattA75 wrote:Lucchino was also the one behind lowballing Lester, and the one who drove the negative PR campaigns against everyone who leftnumbers wrote:Lucchino might be a snake, but he was good at being a snake and the Red Sox will miss that. I'll choose to remember him for being part of the group that brought three world series titles to Boston. Beyond that, I'm going to look the other way (positives and negative).numbers wrote:I know there's plenty of bad that he was responsible for, but he was good to have around sometimes.

Yeah. The vast majority of regional networks are owned by Fox or CSN and are imaged pretty much identically nationwide.spike wrote:Are you simply referring to the coverage style?cutuphalfdead wrote:Yeah they are, but I watch those on tv.spike wrote:Red Sox games aren't blacked out on mlbtv for u?cutuphalfdead wrote:huh?spike wrote:Oh wow, so you can actually watch the Sox in Boston?cutuphalfdead wrote:MLB.tv makes me thankful that the Red Sox aren't on a Fox Sports or CSN owned network.
